What are the benefits of phone and online consultations?
LIVE Virtual Private Dog Training Sessions (hosted through Zoom) offers puppy through geriatric dog training and behavior modification / instruction and consultations from the comfort of your own home. During virtual sessions, a professional dog trainer works with you to help you understand and train your dog to learn manners as well as solve behavior problems.

What kind of problems can you help me deal with?
Once you complete our Training Application, our Professional Advanced Certified Dog Trainer and Professional Instructor will evaluate your case and arrive at your virtual appointment with a plan for addressing the issues you have. During LIVE sessions your trainer will identify and address issues happening with your dog.

Common dog behavior problems like house training (potty training / house soiling), stealing, jumping up, destructive chewing, digging, running away, escaping doorways, fear/shyness and separation anxiety can be resolved in a few sessions.

How long is each session?
Training sessions are 60 minutes long. Owners can explain in detail what their issues and goals are. Under the trainers direction owners will have the opportunity to practice under the trainers guided instruction.

Consultations are available in 30 minute blocks. Contact our office at 281-825-6404 for specifics of your dog and household needs.

How can the trainer train my dog if they aren't at my home?
The trainer may demonstrate with a trained dog from the training facility, shared instructional videos, detailed handouts and verbal instruction. In this way, our visual learners can see what is needed to help the dog comply, while our auditory learners can hear the trainers instructions. Kinesthetic learners will show the trainer (via the virtual video) what they are doing and the trainer can give clarity for improvements. You will learn to train your dog, create a strong bond and get RESULTS!

How long will it take for my dog to learn?
That depends greatly on your willingness and ability to perform the instructed training. In most cases, dogs learn very quickly. We typcially recommend 20 minutes of training per day, plus exercise. When you change your behavior, your dog will change theirs!

Much like learning to prepare a meal, learning how to drive a car or learning any other skill, dog training is basically completing a series of steps. Learning from an expert helps owners acheive balance quickly and directly with less stress and more results!

In some cases, however, the dog or environment is not compatible and potentially dangerous. Through the use of real-time visual evaluation more serious issues may be identified. In this case, the session is limited to a consultation.

Train him to be a gentleman.

Do I have to fill something out?
Yes. You must complete our Training Application. In some cases, we may also require a complete physical exam and clearance from your veterinarian. This will be addressed by your trainer prior to your appointment.

Can the trainer work with my veterinarian?
We will work with your veterinarian to give detailed information so he/she can make an accurate diagnosis or rule out a physical issue.

Does your trainer specialize in problem behavior?
YES! Our veterinary recommended Advanced Certified Dog Trainer has three decades (and thousands of dog and owners trained) of professional dog training and behavior modification experience to help you address and stop undesirable behavior.
